A top prosecutor who worked in the South Florida office where President Donald Trump’s so-called grand conspiracy probe was carried out resigned from the Justice Department.

Attorney General Todd Blanche announced Friday that Jason Reding Quiñones submitted his resignation.

"We are grateful for Jason’s leadership in combatting violent crime, drug trafficking, sex trafficking, and transnational crime, including the indictment of Raúl Castro. Jason has served the Department multiple times over his distinguished career, and we thank him for his service to this country," Blanche said in a post on X.

Reding Quiñones’s office was the host to a wide-ranging investigation into both the criminal investigations into Trump and a 2016 review of the president’s campaign, The Hill reported.
