A Russian yacht passed through the Strait of Hormuz over the weekend, despite the U.S. blockade and Iranian monitoring of the waterway.

The yacht, a 142-ft. vessel, sailed from Dubai on Friday, before arriving in Muscat, Oman, The Hill reported, citing data from MarineTraffic. The ship is connected to a sanctioned Russian oligarch and was flying the Russian flag.

Its passage made the yacht one of the few private vessels to clear the waterway amid the ongoing ceasefire between Iran and the U.S. Negotiations have stalled, however, and Tehran has not committed to additional talks in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Trump on Monday, said that the regime was in a "state of collapse" and had asked the U.S. to reopen the Strait of Hormuz in the interim.

"Iran has just informed us that they are in a “State of Collapse.” They want us to “Open the Hormuz Strait,” as soon as possible, as they try to figure out their leadership situation (Which I believe they will be able to do!). Thank you for your attention to this matter!" he posted on Truth Social.
