Hurricane Isaias made landfall Friday night near Destin, Florida, as a Category 2 storm with sustained winds of 105 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has issued a Hurricane Warning from Ocean Springs, Mississippi, to the Bay/Gulf County line, in Florida.

The storm's landfall comes as hundreds of thousands are without power across the southeast, including more than 200,000 customers without power in Florida alone. Another 179,000 are without power in Alabama, according to poweroutage.us, and nearly 6,000 are without power in Georgia.

The NOAA has also declared Isaias a "major" hurricane, and it is the first hurricane of the Atlantic season.
