The crew of the Artemis II is set to splash down Friday evening at approximately 8:07 p.m. ET. The four astronauts were the first crew to journey to the moon since 1973. They traveled farther into space than any astronauts before them.

The crew of the Artemis II is set to splash down Friday evening at approximately 8:07 p.m. ET. 

The four astronauts — Cmdr. Reid Wiseman, pilot Victor Glover, mission specialist Christina Koch and Canadian Space Agency mission specialist Jeremy Hansen — were the first crew to journey to the moon since 1973. They traveled farther into space than any astronauts before them, and went around the moon. 

The landing is expected to include a choreographed sequence of parachutes, Navy divers and military helicopters, according to The Hill
