President Donald Trump on Thursday said that, contrary to reports that the war in Iran had severely depleted America's stockpiles of munitions, the U.S. has "virtually unlimited" amounts. 

He called the reports stating otherwise "treasonous," in a post on Truth Social, and said the U.S. is producing munitions at "levels never seen before." 

"We are stockpiling and preparing for any contingency that could happen," Trump said. He said the produced munitions aren't being exported to America's allies, but those exports would begin again soon. 

He said that the Biden administration gave more munitions to Ukraine in its war against Russia than the Trump administration has used in the war in Iran.
