At least two Israelis were killed by an Iranian air strike on Easter Sunday hitting the coastal city of Haifa, while in Lebanon another 15 people died amid Israeli strikes. Iran reported at least 25 deaths from Israeli and U.S. strikes on Iranian targets.

All told, the array of strikes made Easter Sunday one of the deadliest recent days of strikes during the five-week-old conflict.

Israeli media reported two dead and two others missing after an Iranian strike on a six-story residential building in Haifa, a city of 300,000 between Tel-Aviv and the Lebanese border. Several others were injured, including one seriously injured. According to media reports, Israeli officials said the warhead on the missile that hit the building did not explode.

In Lebanon, at least 15 people were killed by multiple Israeli strikes, according to the Lebanese Ministry of Health. The report said those killed included a four-year-old girl who died in a strike on Kfar Hatta, a town far from the Israeli border.

Israeli officials and media reports said that more than 25 people, including at least six children, died in Iran. At least one of the strikes was on a residential area, according to reports.

Israel said the Iranian death toll included Majid Khademi, the chief of intelligence for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
