Disgraced ex-GOP congressman George Santos says he will be a parent for the first time next year. 

Santos made the announcement Wednesday on the Meghan McCain's show "Citizen McCain." 

The former New York lawmaker was expelled from Congress in 2023 after revelations he fabricated much of his resume to win first-time election in allegation to swindled money from campaign donor. 

He pleaded guilty in 2024 to wire fraud and aggravated identity theft and was sentenced to seven years in prison. President Trump later commuted the sentence and ordered Santos released. 

“We’re going to be parents next year, and we’re excited about all the preparations of, like, you know, making sure we have everything set up,” Santos said, The Hill reported.
