The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) on Monday announced that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had apprehended a batch of convicted criminal illegal aliens.

Among those apprehended were foreigners from Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Honduras, Cuba, Brazil, Vietnam, Guatemala, and India. All had prior criminal convictions.

Under the Trump administration, ICE and DHS have worked to enact the mass deportation program that marked a signature component of the Republican platform in 2024. While the agencies hope to ultimately deport illegal aliens by the tens of millions, they have prioritized the "worst of the worst" convicted criminal aliens for deportation.

“While Americans enjoyed their weekend, the patriots of ICE worked around the clock to remove attempted murderers, pedophiles, sexual assailants, drug traffickers, and other public safety threats from our communities,” DHS Markwayne Mullin said in a statement. “Every single day, ICE continues to supercharge our efforts to fulfill President Trump’s mandate from the American people to arrest and remove illegal aliens from our country. If you are in our country illegally, we will find you, arrest you, and deport you.”

Topping the Monday roundup was Edison Javier Bueno-Tenempaguay of Ecuador, who was convicted for criminal attempt-by purposely engaging in sexual conduct and sexual assault of a minor aged 13-15.

Jose Felix Marquez-Hernandez of El Salvador was convicted of sexual battery with a familial/custodial victim aged 12-17.

Nolasco Bautista-Santiago of Mexico was convicted for indecency with a child.

Jayron Calix-Padilla of Honduras was convicted for indecent liberties with a child.

Gerardo Toledo-Tocas of Cuba was convicted for sexual assault, robbery, vehicle theft, and failure to register as a sex offender.

Josafa Aguiar Da Costa of Brazil was convicted for second-degree sexual assault, third-degree assault, and risk of injury to child.

Nestor Vasquez of El Salvador was convicted for attempted murder, felonious assault, and heroin possession.

Dung Hoang Nguyen of Vietnam was convicted for attempted murder.

Marco Josue Dionicio-Arnulfo of Guatemala was convicted for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Sergio Lopez-Leos of Mexico was convicted for attempted rape, unlawful delivery of a controlled substance, and illegal re-entry to the U.S.

Zaul Gomez-Martinez of Mexico was convicted for aggravated battery with a firearm.

Singh Sukhvir of India was convicted for oral copulation of an unconscious/asleep victim.

Isai Munoz-Fernandez of Mexico was convicted for conspiracy to distribute fentanyl.

Jose Almanza-Fernandez of Mexico was convicted of burglary, forgery, harassment, possession of a controlled substance, and driving while intoxicated.

Cornelio Estrada-Gonzales of Guatemala was convicted for manufacturing, selling, or possessing fictitious operator's license, public records forgery, and driving while intoxicated.
