A number of UFC fighters on Wednesday joined President Donald Trump in the Oval Office for an impromptu event.

The president promoted the upcoming fight on the White House South Lawn, planned for June 14, in celebration of America's 250th Independence Day, The Washington Examiner reported

In the main event that day, which is also Trump's birthday, Ilia Topuria will defend his UFC lightweight title against interim champion Justin Gaethje. Trump estimates that 100,000 people will attend the fights. There will be 4,000 seats on the lawn itself, and the rest of the crowd can watch the event on viewing screens that will be set up at The Ellipse.

“They say it’s the greatest sport. I could do it, you know, but I’d rather sink a 3-footer personally. But there’s no better thing to watch than this," the president told reporters as he showed off illustrations of the layout and the setting for the event.
