RJ Mitte, who played the son of teacher-turned-meth-dealer Walter White on the television series "Breaking Bad," died Monday. He was 34.

Mitte, who had cerebral palsy, was a disability rights advocate, the Associated Press reported.

Cameron County Justice of the Peace Cyndi Hinojosa told The Associated Press that Mitte was declared dead in what she believes is his home in Brownsville, Texas. Hinojosa did not know the cause of Mitte's death but said an autopsy will be performed.

Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White, expressed "deep despair" for the loss. He said Mitte had never let his cerebral palsy get in the way of the demanding shooting schedule the show operated on.
