Devin Nunes, who resigned from Congress to become CEO of Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns social media platform Truth Social, is now a wine investor and owner of a tasting room in Pismo Beach called Nunes Wine Company. 

Nunes, who was chair of the House Intelligence Committee, regularly made headlines during the first Trump administration and was accused of meddling in Trump’s Russia investigation to protect the president, SFGATE reported. 

He also sued a parody Twitter account called "Devin Nunes' Cow" for $250 million after it called him a "treasonous cowpoke." The lawsuit was later dismissed. 

After leaving Congress, he largely fell out of the news. His new wine venture was first reported by the San Luis Obispo Tribune’s opinion editor. 

The Nunes Wine Company told SFGATE that it specializes in Portuguese and Bordeaux varietals, and the Pismo Beach tasting room opened over the Fourth of July weekend.
