That's one of the latest expenses reported for a longtime project that the rail authority expects will ultimately cost more than $126.2 billion in taxpayers' money. The high-speed rail was supposed to be finished in 2020, but it does not appear that any track has been laid.

Bill Maher says he will return to the White House for a private dinner with Trump next week
Maher, who is known for calling out his own fellow Democratic Party members, said on his "Club Random" podcast that he has accepted the invitation and will be meeting the president, whom he has praised as having "good humor."
