President Donald Trump on Tuesday confirmed that the Secret Service and military last month did not want him to take Air Force One home from Turkey due to a threat.

While the president heeded the warning and took another aircraft home, he said he didn't really concern himself about the nature of the threat.

“I guess there was a threat out there. I didn’t really ask too much about it. I get a lot of threats," Trump told reporters, according to the Associated Press

Trump was stowed away in an airport catering container in order to sneak onto an alternate aircraft, while Air Force One took off to act as a decoy. White House officials, support staff and reporters were aboard Air Force One when it left Turkey.
