Peltola raises $17M in Q3 as the hopes to oust Sullivan in Alaska
Should Peltola pull off a win in the state, it would be extremely difficult for Republicans to hold the Senate.
Former Rep. Mary Peltola, D-Alaska, raised $17 million in the third quarter of 2026 ahead of the November contest against Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska.
Her campaign shared the significant take with Politico on Tuesday. Peltola previously served a single term as Alaska's sole member of the House of Representatives before her ouster by Rep. Nick Begich, R-Alaska.
“Alaskans are sick and tired of DC politicians making life more expensive for everyone while they keep lining their own pockets, and they know it’s time for a change,” Peltola said.
The contest is expected to be one of the most competitive of the November midterms. Alaska's ranked-choice-voting system has also complicated the race while the candidacy of another "Dan Sullivan" has prompted legal battles.
Should Peltola pull off a win in the state, it would be extremely difficult for Republicans to hold the Senate.
