President Donald Trump on Tuesday touted what he called a "great bipartisan response" to his legislative proposals to create tax incentives for Hollywood.

"Great bipartisan response and support in Congress for the Motion Picture, Television, and Entertainment Revitalization Act. We will bring this once great industry BACK TO AMERICA," he posted on Truth Social.

His remarks follow a Monday meeting with actor Jon Voight about the state of the industry. Trump indicated that Voight had suggested the tax incentive plan to save the industry.

"Meetings are being set up with the Leaders of both Parties in order to get this done. It should be Bipartisan, especially since so much money is being lost in California, and other largely Blue States," he said at the time. "I am going to suggest that Republicans and Democrats get together, and immediately craft Legislation to save the Movie, Television, and Entertainment Business in America. Congress should approve, immediately, a Federal Production Incentive to create Entertainment Jobs in America."
