Nearly 20 million U.S. households are behind on utility payments
According to the National Energy Assistance Directors Association’s monthly report, nearly 20 million households across the United States are behind on their utility payments as of March. The households owe a combined $19.5 billion, up from $15.7 billion a year ago.
