House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) kicked off National Police Week by celebrating law enforcement heroes at a press conference in Washington on Monday. Rep. McCarthy said House Republicans remain hopeful they can turn around the damage done by the ‘Defund the Police’ movement.
