2 dead, 3 injured in Las Vegas stabbing spree
Authorities have confirmed that there is no longer a threat to the public.
A stabbing spree outside a Las Vegas casino on Thursday has resulted in two deaths and left three more in critical condition.
A total of eight individuals sustained wounds overall, including tourists and locals, authorities have confirmed, according to ABC News. The victims' identities have not yet been disclosed.
The suspect's motive remains unknown. He was apprehended in a "matter of minutes" by a security guard and police officer, per the outlet.
Authorities have confirmed that there is no longer a threat to the public.
"The Strip is secure," Sheriff Joseph Lombardo said.
