Bahamian police release man arrested in disapparence of his wife

Lynette Hooker, 55, went missing while the couple were sailing in an 8-foot hard bottom dinghy from Hope Town, Abaco, to Elbow Cay on April 4.

Police in The Bahamas released a man who was arrested last week in connection to his wife's disappearance. 

Brian Hooker, 59, of Michigan, was initially questioned as a witness in the disappearance, Reuters reported. His lawyer denied his client did anything wrong.

Lynette Hooker, 55, went missing while the couple were sailing in an 8-foot hard bottom dinghy from Hope Town, Abaco, to Elbow Cay on April 4. Lynette fell overboard with the boat's keys, according to police. After he was unable to see his wife, Brian paddled to shore.
