Baltimore Police release video of assault on pro-life activists outside Planned Parenthood
Police are urging anyone with information to call the city's crime stoppers.
The Baltimore Police Department released surveillance video of the brutal attack on two pro-life activists outside of a Planned Parenthood in an effort to have the public help identify the suspect.
The video, which was released last week, shows a white man with a beard having a heated conversation with a group outside of the Planned Parenthood before tackling a man to the ground. Another man who came to help was also pushed to the ground, hit and kicked, the video of the assault last month shows.
Police are urging anyone with information to call the city's crime stoppers.
The victims were identified by LifeSiteNews as 80-year-old Dick Schafer and 73-year-old Mark Crosby.
Schafer recovered at home, but Crosby went to the University of Maryland's shock trauma facility for treatment for serious injuries to his eye socket, skull, knees and fingers.
"Planned Parenthood does not condone any violence, and I think it is unfortunate that there was an incident that occurred outside our health center," Planned Parenthood President and CEO Karen Nelson told the local the NBC affiliate shortly after the incident. "It's a darn shame that folks who are trying to receive health care have to put up with remarks and comments when they are just trying to go into a facility and receive health care."
