Florida to execute man who said he killed his cellmate so he'd be given the death penalty

Florida is set to execute a prisoner who said he killed his cellmate so that he could be moved to death row.
James Robertson, 63, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder and waived all appeals for strangling his cellmate, Frank Hart, in 2008, NBC News reported.
Roberts was incarcerated at Charlotte Correctional Institution, and according to court documents, he tied several socks together and strangled Hart while the man slept. Robertson told investigators that the attack was carried out so that he'd be sentenced to death and not have to live his days out in prison.
Robert will receive a three-drug injection at Florida State Prison near Starke starting at noon.
