Florida man arrested for alleged social media death threats against Trump and Vance
The Jupiter Police Department in Florida put out a news release on Facebook that confirmed Michael M. Wiseman was arrested Friday.
Authorities have arrested and charged a man in Florida for allegedly posting death threats on social media against former President Donald Trump and GOP vice presidential candidate J.D. Vance.

“After investigating the reports and the suspect’s Facebook account, JPD detectives found that Wiseman had made multiple threats against Trump and Vance, who earlier this week became the Republican nominees for President and Vice President, respectively,” the statement reads.
According to the statement, Wiseman also made threats to family members of both GOP candidates.
As of now police have not given more information about Wiseman.
This arrest comes days after there was an assassination attempt on Trump, wounding him in the ear, during his rally in Butler County, Pennsylvania, which left two others injured and one dead.
NBC News reports that Jupiter County police have been in touch with the Secret Service regarding the incident.
