Former YouTuber Ruby Franke sentenced in child abuse case
Franke is expected to serve the sentences consecutively, putting her sentence between 4 to 60 years.
Former family YouTube vlogger Ruby Franke was sentenced in a Utah court Tuesday to four consecutive prison terms lasting between 1 to 15 years for child abuse.
Franke and her former business partner Jodi Hildebrandt both pleaded guilty to four charges of second-degree aggravated child abuse last year, just months after they were charged with six felony child abuse counts, per NBC News.
Hildebrandt is also expected to be sentenced.
Franke is expected to serve the sentences consecutively, putting her sentence between 4 to 60 years, but the state parole board will ultimately decide how much time she will spend behind bars, according to Today.com.
