Las Vegas Raiders player arrested for DUI resulting in a fatality
The crash involved two other cars, one of which was on fire when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrived on the scene.
Henry Ruggs III of the Las Vegas Raiders was arrested for a DUI following a fatal crash he was involved in early Tuesday morning.
According to The Hill, the crash involved two other cars, one of which was on fire when the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police arrived on the scene.
The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 22-year-old Henry Rugs III, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment. He was transported to UMC hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death. (3/3)

LVMPD says at least one person has died as a result of the crash Ruggs was involved in.
"The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as 22-year-old Henry Rugs III, remained on scene and showed signs of impairment," LVPD said in its statement. "He was transported to UMC hospital to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. Ruggs will be charged with DUI resulting in death." LVMPD said in a tweet.
A female passenger inside Ruggs' car was also injured and transported to a nearby hospital following the crash.
The Raiders responded to the crash in a statement, saying they were aware Ruggs was involved in a crash which resulted in the fatality of at least one person.

"We are devastated by the loss of life and our thoughts and prayers go out to the victim's family," the NFL team said. "We are in the process of gathering information and will have no further comment at this time."
If convicted of the charge, Ruggs could spend up to 20 years in a Nevada prison.
