Man attacks 4 girls at movie theater, 2 other people at McDonald's in stabbing spree: Police
The suspect left in a black SUV and drove 30 miles to nearby Plymouth, Mass., where he was allegedly "involved in a similar assault," police said.
A knife-wielding man attacked four girls inside of a movie theater before attacking two others at a McDonald's during a weekend stabbing spree in Massachusetts, police said.
A man came into an AMC theater in Braintree, Mass., around 6 p.m. without paying for a ticket, police said Saturday evening.
An employee of the theater described the suspect, later identified by the police as Jared Ravizza, as wearing “an oversized trench coat, sunglasses, and a long blonde wig,” according to the New York Post.
"Inside of that theater, he encountered four young females. Without saying anything and without any warning, he suddenly attacked and stabbed the four young females. The attack appeared to be unprovoked," the police said. The girls, whose ages ranged from 9 to 17, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to hospitals in Boston for treatment.
The suspect left in a black SUV and drove 30 miles to Plymouth, Mass., where he was allegedly "involved in a similar assault," police said.
The assault occurred at a McDonalds, where a 21-year-old female and a 29-year-old male were discovered with apparent stab wounds, also according to the New York Post. Both the man and woman were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect was eventually apprehended by police after his vehicle crashed in Sandwich, Mass., police said.
