Suspect arrested in downtown Atlanta shooting that left one dead, four injured

Authorities have apprehended the alleged gunman in an Atlanta shooting that left one person injured and at least four other wounded.
Police arrested Deion Patterson near Truist Park, the home of the Atlanta Braves, at approximately 7:45 p.m. EST, CNN reported.
The Atlanta Police Department identified Patterson as the suspect Wednesday afternoon, while he was still at large. The APD confirmed the apprehension of Patterson in a tweet, saying "[t]he suspect is in custody."
Authorities have since lifted the shelter-in-place advisory.
The shooting occurred in the 1100 block of W. Peachtree St. NW, the location of the Northside Family Medicine and Urgent Care.
