Interim Washington, D.C. Police Chief Jeffrey Carroll told reporters Thursday night that five people were shot during a shooting in the Northwest quadrant of Washington, D.C.

None of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and their identities have not been disclosed. However, Carroll said the victims consisted of two juveniles and three adults.

No suspect has been identified so far, but the shooting took place after an argument on a bus near Military Road and 16th St. The shooting occurred after the people in the argument got off the bus and some of the injured are believed to be bystanders.

An investigation into the shooting is still ongoing, but police have shut down 16th St. in both directions until further notice.
