New Mexico Prosecutors reportedly plan on recharging actor Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter over the fatal shooting on the 2021 movie set of "Rust."

The case will be brought before a grand jury in November and there have been discussions of a potential plea deal, according to a report from NBC News

If convicted, the charge could carry an up to 18-month prison sentence.

Special prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis had dismissed the charge against Baldwin due to what they called "new facts" in the case, which arises from an incident in October 2021 where Baldwin's prop gun fired a live bullet, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
