Six Minutes of Heroism: Watch Nashville cops race through school to neutralize shooter
Warning the above video contains intense footage of the officers responding to the Covenant School shooting minus the graphic scene of victims' bodies and the final act of neutralizing the shooter.
Metropolitan Nashville Police on Tuesday released six-minutes of intense body camera footage showing how its officers rushed through The Covenant School a day earlier to track down the shooter and neutralize her.
The video features footage from the body cameras of Officers Rex Engelbert and Michael Collazo conducting a room-by-room search of the first floor of The Covenant School before confronting the attacker, identified as Audrey Elizabeth Hale, on the second floor.
Just the News edited the video footage down to 3 minutes and 40 seconds so viewers can't experience what the police experienced, absent the bodies of victims' and the final scene when Hale is shot.
