Five victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, ABC News reported, citing "sources." Another victim died at the hospital, police confirmed.
All of the victims were children between the ages of 12 and 17, according to the New York Post. The incident occurred at approximately 4:40 p.m., and reportedly saw at least 10 shots fired. The outlet's sources asserted that the deceased victim was a young girl, who was shot in the face.
Law enforcement attributed the episode to an argument, the subject of which remains unclear as of press time. The suspect remains unidentified.
