Teenage hooligans loot, ransack Los Angeles 7-Eleven
Authorities reported dozens of teens used "bodily force" to ransack and rob the convenience store
Dozens of teens vandalized a Los Angeles-area 7-Eleven, making off with considerable loot on Saturday. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) reported about 50 teens were involved, KTLA reported.
Many of the teens wore masks while forcibly stealing property from the convenience store, an LAPD spokesperson said.
Video shows police responding to the ransacked store with displays knocked down and merchandise strewn throughout the location.
KTLA reports surveillance footage "shows multiple teens hopping over the front counter and grabbing a fistful of products."
Debris from the ransacking "spilled outside, where boxes of candy, a case of water, Styrofoam cups and other items were strewn about the parking lot."
KTLA reports no injuries or arrests made as of noon yesterday. The total loss to the store is unknown.
