Texas woman arrested in DC for threats against Trump

The Secret Service warned local police about the threats

DC Metro Police arrested a Texas woman on Friday for alleged threats against former President Donald Trump.

Local police took Christina Montoya of Texas into custody after the Secret Service alerted them, Fox News reported.

"Through the detectives’ investigation, 41-year-old Christina Montoya of San Antonio, Texas, was arrested and charged with carrying a pistol without a license, possession of an unregistered firearm, and threats against a former president," DC Metro Police said.

Montoya reportedly began threatening Trump on July 20.

DC Metro Police reportedly found a pistol, magazine and gun in Montoya's vehicle.
