Three people were killed and eight others were injured in a nightclub shooting late Saturday night in Brooklyn, New York, according to police. 

The shooting took place at the “Taste Of The City Lounge” in the Crown Heights neighborhood, New York City Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch said during a press conference Sunday. 

“It’s a terrible thing that happened this morning, and we’re going to investigate to determine what went down," Tisch said, according to NBC News.

The individuals who were killed were all males. Two of them were aged 27 and 35. The age of the third victim is unknown. 

There were no reported arrests as of mid-morning Sunday.
