Tuscaloosa boy, 13, killed in apparent drive-by shooting

A 13-year-old boy was shot and killed in his bedroom in Tuscaloosa on Friday in an apparent drive-by-shooting.
The boy was reportedly playing with an iPad in his room when he was hit and killed by the bullets. The shooting occurred early Friday evening.
City police chief Brent Brankley vowed to apprehend the individuals responsible for the homicide.
“We’re going to do everything we can to make these arrests,” he told media after the deadly incident.
