Uber Eats driver has work car and personal car stolen the same day in DC
As of now, those who have stolen the cars have not been identified and her work car has not been found yet.
A driver for Uber Eats in Washington, D.C., says she recently had her work car and personal car stolen on the same day kas.
The female motorist, whose identity is not being made public by the local TV station reporting the story, says she was at a the trendy Union Market food hall in mid-November when the Hyundai she used to deliver for Uber Eats was stolen.
She said the keys to her second car and something that showed her address were in that car.
“Within a matter of moments of time – about 10 to 15 minutes of them taking my Hyundai – they came to my home and got my second car," the woman told News 4.
After she filed a police report, days later she said her personal car was identified and abandoned on a street in Capitol Heights. She said that it had bullet holes in it.
As of now, those who have stolen the cars have not been identified and her work car has not been found yet.
