Legendary actor Tim Curry dies at 80

Actor Tim Curry died at the age of 80 this week, TMZ reported.

Curry was well-known for his role in the "Rocky Horror Picture Show." He also starred in films such as "Muppet Treasure Island," "The Hunt for Red October," and "Home Alone 2."

He also provided the voice of Darth Sidious/Chancellor Palpatine in "Star Wars: The Clone Wars."

On stage, he played King Arthur in the original run of "Spamalot," a musical inspired by Monty Python.

Curry suffered a stroke in 2012 that placed him in a wheelchair.
