Hamas militants para-glided into Israel to killing over 260 people at a music festival for peace early Saturday morning.
The total number of fatalities is the largest single-day death toll for Jews since the Holocaust.
The Chicago chapter has posted numerous times on X since the attacks, claiming the Palestinians are the victims of genocide. One comment that the chapter reposted stated that "the Black freedom struggle and Palestinian freedom struggle are directly linked."
The Black Lives Matter chapter of Washington, D.C., also accused Israel of genocide and reposted numerous statements in support of the terrorists.
Black Lives Matter Grassroots, an account on X that says it is a collective of "chapters doing the on-the-ground work for Black liberation," posted a statement in support of Hamas terrorism and said there are "parallels between Black and Palestinian people."
The support for Hamas extends beyond the U.S.
Black Lives Matter U.K. has made numerous statements since the start of the attacks, including using "#PalestineWillBeFree," accusing Israel of perpetrating a genocide and urging donations to Gaza.
