Democrats slam George Clooney after Harris loss for urging Biden to step aside

Democrats are livid with George Clooney in the wake of Vice President Kamala Harris's election loss this week.
In July, Clooney urged President Joe Biden to step aside as the Democratic nominee in an article published in The New York Times entitled "I Love Joe Biden. But We Need a New Nominee."
In late July, Biden announced that was ending his presidential campaign and subsequently endorsed Harris to take his place on the ticket. Earlier this week, Trump defeated Harris in both the electoral college and popular vote.
Some Democratic activists have taken to social media to attack Clooney for urging Biden to step down, according to The Daily Beast.
“Since I’m in a deep depression and feel like lashing out at someone, what’s the plan now George Clooney?” one user said, the outlet reports.
“It’s all George Clooney’s fault!” another account said.
"Someone bring me George Clooney. We need to have a... talk," activist account altNOAA wrote.
