Iowa's Caitlin Clark becomes all-time NCAA scoring leader, breaking half-a-century old record
She has scored more points than any NCAA basketball player in history.
University of Iowa's Caitlin Clark on Sunday beat the all-time NCAA basketball points record that was set more than half a century ago by the late Pete Maravich, making her the highest-scoring college basketball athlete of all-time.
Clark, 22, broke "Pistol Pete's" NCAA record of 3,667 points with a free throw shortly before halftime at the Carver-Hawkeye Arena against Ohio State, per the New York Post.
Maravich set the record over three seasons when he played for Louisiana State University from 1967-1970.
