Kansas City Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes wins 2nd NFL MVP award of career
The Chiefs will play against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday in the Super Bowl.
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes on Thursday received his second NFL MVP award, winning the league's accolade for the 2022 season.
He last won the honor in 2018, a year in which he through 50 touchdowns and 5,097 yards, according to Fox News. In 2022, he threw 41 touchdowns and 5,250 yards.
Mahomes, 27, ranks among the youngest players to received two MVP awards from the league, behind only Brett Favre, also 27 at the time, and Jim Brown, who was 22 upon receiving his second award, the outlet noted.
