Composer Burt Bacharach, known for dozens of hit pop songs including "I Say a Little Prayer" and "Do You Know the Way to San Jose," has died at the age of 94.
He passed away Wednesday from natural causes at his home in Los Angeles, publicist Tina Brausam said Thursday, The Associated Press reported.
Musicians who worked with Bacharach include Dionne Warwick, Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield.
His songs have been covered by music legends such as Elvis Presley, the Beatles and Frank Sinatra.
An eight-time Grammy winner and a three-time Oscar winner, his film themes included those of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "Arthur,"
"What's New, Pussycat?" and "Casino Royale."
