Singer John Schneider releases new song as a Valentine's Day card to America
"This is where freedom was born," Schneider said in reference to America.
Musician John Schneider discusses his new song titled "She's Worth It," calling it a Valentine's Day card to America.
"I wrote this song as a Valentine's Day card to America, but also as one of the songs that's going to be in an entire patriotic album that I plan on having out by the Fourth of July," Schneider said on the Friday edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" TV show.
He said that he got the idea for this song after he noticed a lot of young people didn't seem that proud to be Americans.
"This is where freedom was born," Schneider said in reference to America. "This is where freedom is kept. So I started debating back and forth with these folks. Then I realized that they had been taught intentionally quite the opposite — that America is a problematic country that stems from dark, terrible secret roots. I determined that I was going to fight that with everything I got."
"She's Worth It" was released on Valentine's Day and as of now, has thousands of views on YouTube.
Schneider said that Americans have to fight for their country in order to preserve it for the next generation.
"We are now really thinking about our children and our grandchildren and their grandchildren," he said. "We realize that we've got to do something, because terrible things happen when good people do nothing."
