Numerous states may be facing Christmas tree shortfalls this year, a possible fallout from the chaotic labor market and supply chain issues that have persisted for nearly a year.

States from California to Wyoming to Iowa are already facing potential shortages of live trees even while Christmas is still roughly two months away.

Artificial trees, meanwhile, may also be in short supply as the Christmas season looms due to shipping delays at various ports around the country.

Earlier concerns about turkey shortages ahead of Halloween, meanwhile, appear to have largely abated, with producers apparently being able to meet demand for the U.S. holiday going into November.
