At least 10 people were injured in a mass shooting Thursday afternoon at the Mall of Louisiana, in Baton Rouge.

The Baton Rouge Police Department confirmed two people are in critical condition and multiple others were hurt in the shooting, according to CBS News. No fatalities have been reported so far.

The incident allegedly occurred after two groups got into an argument at the mall's food court and several bystanders may also be among the injured. No suspects have been arrested so far.

"We're gonna catch you," Baton Rouge Mayor Sid Edwards said in a message to the perpetrators. "We're not gonna have this in Baton Rouge. It's not gonna happen. I have complete confidence in our law enforcement partners that we're gonna go out and grab these guys and get them off the street."

Louisiana Republican Gov. Jeff Landry also confirmed the shooting and said he is working with law enforcement to find out more.

"I am aware of the active shooter scene at the Mall of Louisiana," Landry said on X. "I am in coordination with law enforcement and we will update as we know more. Please avoid the area.

"Sharon and I are praying for those affected and are grateful for a quick response by our law enforcement officials," he added.

Baton Rouge police are asking for witnesses or people who have cellphone video of the shooting to come forward and help identify suspects.
