Tech giant Apple has put out another iOS update for its devices, shortly after dropping update 17.1.1. due to security exploits.

This new update, titled iOS 17.1.2, was made available to users on Nov. 30 and has a goal of patching up security concerns that were found in 17.1.1.

"This update provides important security fixes and is recommended for all users," Apple said in a statement, according to Fox Business

Apple was expected to release update 17.1.2 a few months after 17.1.1, but due to security exploits, it had to be released sooner.

According to Tech Crunch, the vulnerabilities were found in WebKit, which is the browser engine that powers Safari and different apps.

The vulnerabilities made it easier for hackers to install spyware on someone's device over the internet.

Apple says that the vulnerabilities are fixed and is urging its customers to download the new update as soon as possible.
