The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) opted to delay a mission to the International Space Station of a leak on the station, The Hill reported.

At issue is an air leak in the tunnel to the Russian component of the station. Though Russian personnel have insisted they repaired the leak, the development raises issues for the station's structural integrity.

The ISS is scheduled for decommissioning in 2030. The station has been in the news for unrelated reasons in recent years, including over the unexpectedly lengthy stay of American astronauts, who returned to Earth in March.
