President Donald Trump's approval ratings are underwater across the board, with voters particularly critical of his stewardship of the economy, a recent survey has revealed.

Overall, Trump received a 33% approval rating in the latest AP/NORC poll. A further 67% of U.S. adults disapproved of him. Those numbers worsened when voters addressed the economy, as only 30% approved of him on the issue while 70% disapproved.

On cost of living, specifically, he stood at 23% approval and 76% disapproval.

He performed marginally better on immigration, earning a 40% approval rating, but 59% of respondents disapproved of his handling of the issue. On Iran, he earned a 32% approval rating and 67% disapproval.

Conducted April 16-20, the survey questioned 2,596 U.S. adults.
