Ex-CBP Commissioner warns GOP: if they can't get border legislation passed, voters will hold them responsible in 2024

Former Commissioner of the Customs and Border Protection Agency Mark Morgan has strong words for the Republican party on the border crisis: “there’s been no greater time, they’ve never had this much leverage … to force the Democrats to actually reverse course on their open border policies.” He warned that if “they fail to take advantage of this,” voters would hold them responsible in the 2024 elections, since “the American people have woken up” when it comes to the border.
