Sen. Chuck Grassley, the top Republican on the Senate Judiciary Committee, wants to believe FBI Director Christopher Wray understands the seriousness of the politicalization within the bureau. "The public ought to have great confidence in the FBI, and their credibility is at stake," Grassley said Thursday after grilling the director in a committee hearing. Despite what Grassley considers the bureau's slow pace toward reform, the Iowa lawmaker is optimistic about Wray "going in the right direction."
