Activist Scott Presler warns RNC lacks 'ground game,' needs to focus on voter registration

"So we have the boots on the ground. And it's been 153 days that I have been reaching out to the chairwoman [Ronna McDaniel] without a response," he lamented.

Conservative grassroots activist Scott Presler is sounding the alarm on the Republican National Committee's voter registration efforts, warning that the GOP is far behind the Democrats on the issue and needs to invest in early voting to defeat President Joe Biden in 2024.

"I know this is a contentious issue, but I'm going to say it overtly: if Republicans wait to vote in November 2024, than Joe Biden has already won reelection," he declared on the "Just the News, No Noise" television show. "And I mean that very respectfully, but look at what happened in 2022, to the great Kari Lake in Arizona. The machines coincidentally went down on Election Day. In Nevada, it's no to on Election Day, and Adam Laxalt, lost by 8,000 votes. And in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, where we're asking for paper ballots, they ran out of paper ballots on Election Day."

"And so my argument is, look, I want every legal vote to count, but I'm worried that if we wait to vote on one day, then so many things can go wrong," he cautioned. "And I want to make sure that we make Joe Biden a one-term president."

Pressed on the RNC's "Bank Your Vote" initiative that encourages early voting, Presler contended that while the program is a step in the right direction, the party was likely to lag behind the Democrats.

"I think it's a great idea... but I have to tell you, the RNC has no ground game, has no plan, doesn't have money. And in fact, I just read the news the other day that the Democrats are investing $20 million into a voter registration plan" he stated. "We don't have anything like that coming from the GOP or RNC, which is why at earlyvoteaction.com, we're focused on registering voters in Arizona and Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin."

"So we have the boots on the ground. And it's been 153 days that I have been reaching out to the chairwoman [Ronna McDaniel] without a response," he lamented.

Presler is an organizer with Early Vote Action, an organization he says is "focused on five states: Arizona, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin."

"If we win those states, according to the Electoral College, according to math, we win the White House, we win the presidency," he declared. "But I'm not just focused on 2024. I think it's very important that we prioritize this year right now in 2023. We have elections this November."

Presler in particular highlighted a Supreme Court race in Pennsylvania, asserting that "[i]f we don't win this Pennsylvania State Supreme Court election this November, Republicans will not be able to win back the state Supreme Court until 2035."
